Administratively, the North Ketekazgan Field is located in Syrdarya District of Kyzylorda Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The field occupies a geographical position, lying in the southern part of the Turgai Basin.
In 2013-2014, according to the Addendum to the "Prospecting Work for the Exploration Period of Contact Site 1057" 4 wells were drilled. Based on the results of testing these wells, the oil and gas content of Cretaceous and Jurassic sediments has been established at the North Ketekazgan Field. The field is divided by tectonic disturbances into 8 blocks and allocated by 13 productive horizons.
At the moment the field is in the process of test operation.
